@Klein-Anleger I already have the company on my watchlist. I just haven't found a way in yet.

@Klein-Anleger Exactly, new debt and dilution. 😉 But I didn't want to buy today anyway.

@Multibagger Management itself has said that the acquisition is immediately accretive to earnings. This means that earnings per share will increase faster than the dilution and interest costs... The takeover positions Kraken Robotics even more broadly in the underwater market and triples its turnover. You are buying a company that is already very profitable and will immediately increase earnings per share despite dilution. Are you rather critical of the takeover? The danger is that the integration will not succeed...

I'm curious to see how big the dip will be when they are tradable again 👀. I see a chance to get in/expand again at a favorable price 👌🏻, before the thing will most likely only know one way in the future with the purchase, namely ️🫡🙌🏻.

@Klein-Anleger I just let my savings plan run. 😉 I actually haven't even looked at the acquired company yet. 😎😂 So in that respect it was an unqualified joke post.

@Multibagger So, for me, this is absolutely the right move in the long term. I want to have a high growth niche champion that continues to grow strongly. That does $PNG

@Multibagger So that you don't have to do any research, I've had Gemini summarize the acquired company for you in thinking mode:

Acquired for CAD 615 million, the Covelya Group is a British specialist in maritime sensor technology which, with 12 international locations and brands such as Sonardyne, suddenly multiplies Kraken's global reach. With a projected annual turnover of up to CAD 275 million and an operating profit (EBITDA) of over CAD 60 million, the company contributes a remarkable profitability of around 24% to the Group.
