My 6-month overnight money account at ING with 3.5% will expire soon.

I am thinking about shifting part of it into a money market ETF. Does that make sense?

And $XEON (-0,01 %) or $XEOD (+0,01 %) ?

If you don't fancy interest rate hopping, the money market is a good choice. I still keep my nest egg in my call money account, as it's quicker to access the money.
What's your experience with ING? That's where I wanted to go next. 😅 I read that the interest is paid out annually. Is that all transparent?

@MLana I am very satisfied with ING. I also have my custody account there.
You receive interest annually, always at the end of the year. But you can view your current interest rate at any time.

@Speggi I can only agree with this, I've also been there for 4 months without any problems👍

DKB expires tomorrow. I will also switch to $XEON or $XEOD. At least 50% of the nest egg.
The rest remains on the daily field for 1.75% interest.

@DividendenWaschbaer I can't wait to see what you decide on tomorrow... 😊

@Speggi Probably $XEON so that I don't reinvest the interest straight away 😅
@DividendenWaschbaer Why not the complete 100%?

@Wowa83 Because the nest egg is for emergencies and I want it in an emergency. Depending on what it is, it might be urgent. Then the broker doesn't work, or the money remains blocked for 2 days, then I need 2 days until the transfer is back at my bank (unless something is held back again or something else). You can expect it to take a week, in the worst case even longer. That's nothing to me.

When choosing, you need to know whether you want a distribution or an accumulator...

@DerMartin rather distributors. Do you pay tax on distributions from money market ETFs in the same way as dividends? Presumably yes, right?
image de profil
@Speggi Yes, the same. You just don't have a partial exemption of 30% compared to an equity ETF. With the accumulator, you naturally have a small tax deferral effect, but whether that makes the difference is another question

what is the difference to this : $CSH2? thanks :) does anyone have it ?

@Steffen81 Have you found an answer to this? The TER from $CSH2 is a lot more attractive
