I personally got into this asset class rather late in April. Had it on my radar since December, but was not yet familiar with the apps where you can trade them. Now I mainly use Binance and for a small coin KuCoin. The BUX token.


How many of you also hold cryptocurrencies and what are the reasons if you are not yet?

The question is, are you looking for an investment or do you want to understand the system.The latter automatically limits the investment, because if you understand the systems, you no longer invest in many different currencies.

@oliverplass A great many coins are based on a decentralized system, if not all of them. This is the central characteristic of the blockchain. In addition, Bitcoin uses a rather outdated technology with the Proof of Work mechanism. I think Proof of Stake, which Cardano, for example, is based on (and soon Ethereum too), is better. ☺️

@oliverplass Bitcoin is a store of value. However, other projects have a practical area of application. ETH, for example, is the backbone of DeFi applications, which will play a very important role in the future.
