Is it worth the investment?

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about taking a new position at Apple $AAPL (-1,02 %) . What are your thoughts on the company? The numbers look pretty solid, and so does the growth. I also see positive developments in the field of artificial intelligence. However, compared to its competitors, the valuation currently seems quite high to me.

What are your thoughts on this?

I’d appreciate any feedback.

In 2020, I bought some $AAPL shares—close to the all-time high—which were way too expensive, and there was a lot of talk about Apple’s decline (which has never really stopped).

In general, you always have to expect setbacks, but for me, it would definitely be a buy in the long run.

I got in back in April 2025 and have been up 60% since then. Yeah, the numbers look great. But Apple is really booming right now. It could just as easily go back down again.
What’s your time horizon? Are you planning to buy and hold until you retire, or just for a few months?

@DiviDino95 Retirement is still a long way off. (I'm 19.) But I'm thinking 10–15 years from now. We'll see where we stand then. If the returns aren't good enough, we'll just rebalance the portfolio.

On average, I'd say it's certainly not a bad investment. My recommendation: Buy in installments (DCA) and hold onto it forever 😄

Right now, I would wait for a correction; it’s not a bad company, but I think there are better opportunities. It will certainly keep growing, but it is close to all-time high levels. It could definitely keep rising and probably will, but I’d put it on my watchlist and wait for a better entry point. Not financial advice, just my personal opinion.

When they announce how many super-expensive iPhone Duos they've sold, there's sure to be another big jump upward. The forecasts for that look very good right now. That aside: Time is of the essence ;)
