Advice for current investments

Hello dear community,

I am 14 and have been trading for about a month. I have had successes such as $AMD (+0,98 %) (30% +) but also big losses with $NOVO B (+4,17 %) .

I just wanted to ask if you guys have any suggestions for my current portfolio and what purchases you would recommend at the moment. I am doing a lot of research on my own, but if there are people who can help me I would be very happy.

Thanks in advance!

PS: the values are partly misleading, as I had more + than - overall, but the values are distorted by transactions.

Stay tuned and under 10 positions. Keep the FTSE as core (>50% weighting). Don't always buy what is trending/hyped. Be prepared for downtrends of -20% and -40% but don't sell to buy cheaper later. Understand how companies make money. If you are not sure about the future and you just "think" it might go up it probably won't, if it does luck was not skill.

...I wish I could have started so young back then. 🌠

P.S have fun in everything you do 🫡

Hi there!
If I can give you one quick tip: No matter what you do, stick with it and remember: the stock market is not a casino. If you think it's a casino, then the bank always wins.

So if you are convinced by individual stocks, stick with them until the trend reverses so dramatically that you can no longer and no longer want to take it into account. In the case of Novo, for example, you can see very clearly how little effort people make to read and understand business figures. But that's fine with you, you rarely get robust companies this cheap.

And if you want to go a little deeper: Andre Kostolany has written a good standard work, especially because he can look back on 90 years of experience. You should take this to heart and let it inspire you.

Hey, it's great that you're already thinking about your money at such a young age. In general, you should learn how to read business reports with all the little stumbling blocks. ChatGPT can help you with this if you give him the data. But don't just let him evaluate it, promote it so that he can explain to you how to read it correctly. Recognizing and reading it yourself makes all the difference later on. If you can do this, then good companies can be found quickly. And you can easily make mistakes at your age 😉. There are so many good books on the subject. Otherwise, look around at what you and your friends use and consume and then see which companies offer these products. Perhaps also think a little laterally, e.g. those who travel by train should not focus directly on the train shares, but rather on the suppliers of the train and companies that may provide the infrastructure. Just such thoughts. Try it out. But a and o learn how to value companies. Then hype is no longer your problem but rather your friend. 👍🏻

@Orbit2023 I'm pleased about the infrastructure, because I bought $MU for exactly that reason. NVIDIA and co wouldn't work without it, I've kind of drawn the conclusion myself. Many thanks for your detailed and helpful answer!

Very strong. To deal with money in this way at the age of 14. Don't forget to only invest what you don't really need and don't let life and partying get in the way vergessen✌🏻

Keep at it. World ETFs always as a basis (min. 70%)
Live below your means
Try to achieve and maintain as high a savings rate as possible.
Do not brag
Do not buy hype
This is a marathon, not a sprint.

If you keep it up, you'll be a millionaire by the time you're 40.

@Klein-Anleger1 I don't need a selfie. Nobody under 50 is called Manfred. Your name is proof enough
