DIE or not to DIE

$DIE (+0,8 %) The dividend payout looks very interesting at a 38.31% yield. I am thinking of buying 10x shares in June before the ex-date and hope to get the maximum dividend out before selling. Do you have any suggestions?

I don't understand the point of buying a stock with such a high dividend before the ex-dividend date? Do you like paying taxes?

@TomTurboInvest the dividend tax in NL is about 15%. In other EU countries it is about 25~30%. I don't mind the tax, either way we have to pay for every captial gains; whether it is in cryptos, shares or ETFs.

@MadCircle313 regardless 15% or 30%, it is wasted if you buy upfront the ex-day. What is the benefit you expect?
Are you aware about the deduction on the ex-day?

Watch out, the 38% is based on a one off dividend last year. Will be a lot less now.
