Buy of the month 📲 Allianz 📊🔍🇩🇪

I’ve just add $ALV (-0,31 %) to the portfolio. Another German wonder if you ask me. 💎🇩🇪 I did this since I wanted to have $ALV (-0,31 %) in my portfolio for a long time already. Since it dipt -3% today I thought this was a decent moment for buying in my first 5 stocks. Personally think the company has a lot of potentional in the long-term. With an attractive 4% dividend rate at the trading current price of ≈ €370 per stock. Which fitted my buy-in price. Let me know if you are invested in $ALV (-0,31 %) . And what makes you think that it is a good investment? 📲 📊 🔍

I’m always seeking for new long-term holding positions with interesting dividend rates to create myself a passive income beside the income I earn from working my job. This way I try to build a portfolio that generates me enough money to survive and retire earlier.

I’m currently 22 years old for those who are interested. And I’m also planning to emigrate to Croatia within maximum 8 years from now.🇭🇷 In Croatia, the needs and costs of living are way lower than in my home country. Which also makes it easier to survive with less.

Everyone should follow their dreams. Don’t let a government ever choose for your wants and needs. Stand up, turn your hands and follow your own dreams. As long as you try hard enough. You will be able to make your dreams reality. 💎

@MrKurt89 agreed🙂

Yes. But I think the 3% discount today made it a decent opportunity. Particularly because he was seeking for a longterm quality investment which will add quality and cashflow.

@MrKurt89 @NotBubble
Today even cheaper - another decent opportunity. $ALV rocks 🍀

@VillaSpilla well, ofcours, today would have been clearly better to step in with another 4% discount. But good luck finding the bottom, which counts for every asset. I’m not even trying to do that. Because I will fail anyway. I’d rather let the time do its trick. And yes, if it just keeps rolling down like the last 2 days. I’ll buy more in the nearby future. That’s for sure 📊📉

@NotBubble you clearly get the point! 💶👉🏻📉

I’m also invested and added it as a quality compounder with stable cashflow. Invested since June 2024. Up 21% (24% including dividends) with my holding so far. Today also added some tidbits via savings plan.

@NotBubble I expected to achieve the same. growth on the stock price, not even too crazy. With the dividends adding up. I also do like the way they raise the dividend every year. Perfect for compounding

Yes. Originally I was aiming at an average 4-5% return on the stock plus the dividends. The run was quite crazy so far, given such a „boring“ value stock. I don’t expect it to last forever. But happy about the extra return though.

@NotBubble stocks with boring values are so far the ones that made me the best returns. Just holding them like crazy long time and they make me a decent amount of yearly passive income.

My best long-term investment.
Meanwhile my personell dividend rate for 600 shares is approx. 9,5 %

@ThomasHH that is fantastic, your doing great👍🏻
Why is Allianz falling so sharply? War damage is not insurable and they don't need oil either. I don't quite understand it.

@IronEagle good reason to buy more, just panic over some war. Whole market is down today, so is $ALV

@IronEagle Political crises always lead to (headless) actionism on the part of many investors. Add to this some nonsensical stop-loss orders that are set far too tightly and misery takes its course.
$ALV is an excellent stock for long-term investors and dividend hunters.
As long as there is no bad corporate news, hands off selling, hands off SL orders. Buy in the event of price losses.
Those who act in panic always lose money unnecessarily.

@ThomasHH I agree. My position is already too big, otherwise I would buy more. I still have AXA in my portfolio and I'm always unsure whether I shouldn't switch to $MUV2 instead. The withholding tax in France is really annoying, which means that a lot less of the nice dividend arrives.

@IronEagle It's the same for me. I would have bought more, but I already have 10% in $ALV

@VillaSpilla that’s a lot! But still, depends on you total invested amount. If you just started its not weird. And also for bigger investors. 10% in one stock is a lot. However, that does not mean it is a bad thing.

@Mhrk Yes a lot - around 300 shares +/- 🤗 - dividend & performance, stability & sustainability of the $ALV biz model convinced me on such an longterm investment - built up in the last 7 years.
Best regards from Düsseldorf 😜
