In my opinion, there are far too many ETFs, and I'm not a fan of sector ETFs in general. I would focus more on individual stocks. To make it easier for you to understand my opinion a little better, I can recommend the 11th episode of the podcast Börsen Realtalk by Michael Schattmann. I have a very similar opinion. LG

•@called_jonas Thanks for your feedback. Individual shares are too stressful for me in large quantities. Besides, I never make the jump. Sector ETFs are practically my substitute for individual shares. Instead of buying individual companies in a sector, I buy the whole sector directly - with all the advantages and disadvantages.

@DonkeyInvestor In my opinion, it makes no sense to invest in tens of thousands of companies of which you don't even know >50% and you invest in many stocks that you haven't analyzed. You are simply investing in the losers of countries, continents and sectors that are simply being dragged along by the market leaders. Especially with a planned six-figure portfolio, you can also diversify well with 20-30 individual stocks. No investment advice. LG

@called_jonas Yes, but I also invest in the winners 😜.
Stock picking is very time-consuming. I can use the time better for something else. In return, I accept a lower return. I also don't trust myself to identify the exact companies in a sector that will beat the market. Sorry, but I'm too stupid for this strategy and I don't have enough time. But great if you can manage it. Wish you every success 👍
