Is the lever broken?

Why should the lever be broken?
The lever just works differently over time. $MSTR now holds many more BTCs and the entry price has risen. That makes a difference, of course.
In addition, the share has not been as volatile in recent months as it was at the beginning, and the leverage has often also boosted other days.

The "leverage" is also only 16% at the moment :D
And you also have to bear in mind that they have now gained a lot of competition in the last few months

First, I'm seeing 2.47% vs 2.31 right now - but regardless you're not buying leverage here and no 1:1 performance. You're buying a box that btc keeps coming back into. Finance with cheaper insturments. That's the financial magic behind it. If you don't understand that, you shouldn't buy it.

@PaulPK I am aware of this, but nevertheless the performance (and of course vola) of micro is significantly different than in the days of the previous btc ath

@MH711 well it has to be - you're not buying btc - different opinions - different risks - different opportunities - otherwise everyone would just buy btc or hedge futures on it 😂

You're right. The competition does make a difference, of course.
But the question is whether you shouldn't go directly into BTC (I am), at least it saves on tax
