Smooth Leadership Transition at Wolters Kluwer?

This month marks the leadership transition: Nancy McKinstry steps down as CEO of $WKL (-0,46 %) and Stacey Caywood takes over. A smooth handover that I view very positively.

McKinstry led $WKL (-0,46 %) for over 20 years and achieved a tenfold market cap increase through the transformation to digital expert solutions. Caywood has been with the group for thirty years, led two major divisions (Health and Legal & Regulatory), and co-architected the 2025-2027 strategic plan.

This internal succession means continuity: no strategic U-turn, but continuation of a proven course.

Do you guys see this transition as a strength or risk?

The only answer which gives you the final yes/no will be within 2 weeks 2025 year results if these are good.
Stock will fly, if these are under prediction, it will have a hard time.

Ps take a look to $REL same kind of company their numbers came out today

Anyway current price is word taking a risk I suppose ?

@BeleggenmetDave yes $REL number looked quite good actually? Personally I have more feeling with $WKL

And you're right... The stock is so cheap now, it feels like okay to take the risk now.
Dito...today !!!!

They are simply falling by 1 to 2% every day and there is no bottom in sight. My position has now shrunk to such an extent that a total loss would not make any difference. That's why it no longer makes sense to sell.
