Were the altcoins up? Why bitcoin and why now? It's going to fall a lot this year, so I would probably have waited. It probably won't go really high either, I'm guessing around 120-140k top.
@Aktienmeer Most of them were deep red and had just been lying around for a few years. I sold five altcoins and ended up with a total of 346.90 EUR - not really much (also because of the loss). The amount was invested directly in $BTC. It is possible that it will fall in the coming weeks/months before it rises again. If it falls then I'll buy again at a good price, I'm still a long way from reaching my target of 5% of the total portfolio ;-)
