Not worth the hype. It's just the only Quantum stock on Trade Republic, so it gets a lot of attention. Numbers scream INSOLVENCE very loudly. They are burning tons of cash but don't have much left. They definitely need to raise capital a few more times. Almost no sales and still in the red for a very long time. So for now it would still be a risky bet as there is no real indication that D-Wave will end up at the forefront of quantum computing. And even if you think that in the distant future an investment that is not just based on short-term speculation should pay off, there are simply many other investment opportunities that I personally think are better. $RKLB, $GRAB, $AWE, $9984, $4480, $LNTH...... Just to name a few examples.

@PikaPika0105 Where did you get the information from?

@Nawrooo I usually base my decisions on three things: company figures, analysts' estimates and my personal feeling.

You can look up company figures yourself or on internet portals. I always use Finanzen.net and Simply Wall Street. If you want just numbers then Finanzen.net and if you want to have all the numbers and analyst forecasts analyzed then Simply Wall Street (I have already created a lot of accounts for the free trial version haha). There you can see for example how much debt they have against cash or how much loss they are likely to make.

Here's a sample: D-Wave currently has $29m in cash, $46m in debt and is expected to lose over $200m in the next three years. That doesn't look sooooo good. And last but not least, my feeling is that they are not only significantly worse off financially (than an Alphabet or IBM), but also have no technological reasons why they should end up at the top. Incidentally, there was also some very discreet insider selling recently and they don't have any really big investors either (you can see both on SimplyWS).

@PikaPika0105 and why did you deal with it so intensively? You can tell that the interest is there 😅

@Nawrooo because I once held the share myself, which I no longer want to remember today. Although I think it was the right decision in the long term (for the reasons mentioned), I was annoyed in the short term when the hype suddenly broke out.
