The time has come!

I have just made the first derivative trades according to the more defensive variant described on Sunday and am sharing them with you as promised.

The first trade is on $TJX (-0,38 %) . This analysis brought me to this point.

TJX: Consumer magnet with a customs advantage

TJX has performed impressively in recent quarters. Nine consecutive quarters of positive growth speak for themselves. The special thing about it is that this growth is driven exclusively by higher customer frequency, not by higher prices or larger shopping baskets. This means that more people are actively choosing TJX in a demanding consumer environment. In Germany, the Group is best known for its TK Maxx stores.

The customer base is also getting younger. The company is increasingly attracting young shoppers who are just entering their prime earning years. This demographic shift is crucial for the long-term relevance of the brand. Many retailers have failed because they have lost touch with the next generation. TJX is moving in the opposite direction, securing decades of future growth.

The HomeGoods division has evolved from a seasonal to a year-round business. Traditionally, customers only visited furniture retailers for specific projects or seasonally for decoration. TJX has expanded the assortment to include gift items and consumables, so customers now return regularly. This increase in frequency smoothes out seasonal fluctuations and makes the business more predictable.

TJX is also benefiting from the new tariffs on Chinese imports. While traditional retailers with a high dependency on China are coming under massive pressure, TJX is in the perfect position as an off-price retailer. The company buys surplus goods from other retailers who have to clear their stocks. The more pressure there is in the market, the more low-priced goods TJX has available. Stock levels per store have already risen by 10 percent, underlining the aggressive purchasing strategy.

The next quarterly figures are due in just under two weeks. Once again, I expect strong fundamental data and a solid outlook. Nevertheless, the share could show an exaggeration in an initial reaction.

@Multibagger Thank you for your contribution. Sorry for the stupid question, I've never leveraged before. But would give it a try as I like your theory. I'm with TR, what exactly did you bet?

@HeHo2208 I bet approx. 1.5% of the portfolio volume on each trade. However, you won't be able to trade all the bills at TR. Only the one on $MS. The others are not tradable at TR.
vK9KLF and JU2TNA could work.
‱‱
@Multibagger I found it at TR, DE000VH43SH3 , is it still worth getting in?

@HeHo2208 The key figures are the same as mine. I think there are still good opportunities. In any case, I remain invested.

@HeHo2208 have you done? It hasn't been that bad so far.
‱‱
@Multibagger Yes, I have done that. But due to the small position, I'm only in the plus now. Still practicing

@HeHo2208 That's perfectly fine. If you're still unsure, it's better to practise with small stakes.
