Enphase Energy before earnings. $ENPH (-1,89 %)

Hello my dears,

Next week there will be figures for Enphase, perhaps an opportunity to start the 🚀 from the bottom upwards.

After a not so good year, I have picked out the estimates for you.

Since the beginning of the year, Vistra $VST (+0,48 %) has become one of the top performers thanks to AI and data centers.

Do you see similar potential for Enphase?

I'm currently burning my fingers with Enphase. I'm still convinced by the company. But the minus hurts.

@Mh3
As far as I could see, they have lost 70% of their profits this year.
This is reflected in the share price.
But it looks like it's bottoming out and fundamentally the share price is rising again.
And in the long term it should go up again.
But not an easy sector.
I'm really curious to see where the journey will take us and whether good fundamental figures will be reflected in the share price.

According to my strategy, this would be my next purchase, but in view of the disastrous performance I am hesitant at the moment. But of course you're right, it could also pay off to invest now, when sentiment feels like it's at its lowest point.

@DieEnte7
We now need some positive news

@Tenbagger2024 Let's see what the next quarterly figures bring 😅

@DieEnte7
Should you buy beforehand?

@Tenbagger2024 Only a crystal ball can tell you whether you should, and I recently swapped mine for a Snickers bar 😉 But I'm not a fan of it, especially with such speculative stocks. If the thing gains 10% after the figures, there's still plenty of room for upside, if it loses 10% you feel like you've been mugged anyway. I think it's better to wait and make a better-informed decision.

I think good figures could give the share momentum and then you can still get in well.

@Tenbagger2024 Exactly. You haven't lost anything yet, even if you missed the first positive movement.

@Tenbagger2024 Hmhm, the first reaction is definitely not pleasant. I think patience and nerves are still required.

@DieEnte7
Perhaps $NEE is an alternative

@Tenbagger2024 I was even invested once before, I think I sold in mid-2022 to reduce my dependence on the energy sector a little. Looking back, it was a good idea, but I picked the wrong share 🙃 I will continue to hold Enphase for the time being, but won't buy more until the first positive news comes. Hopefully 2025 will be better :)

For me, energy is not exciting for a long-term investor, because the right technology at the right time is exciting and betting on the right horse requires a lot of knowledge.

I would see other companies as much more stable and exciting in the long term than a final phase.

This is exciting for traders who go deeper into the topic.

Isn't it the future?
A CO2 neutral world.
In Switzerland, an entire glacier is currently melting.
