Strange feeling

Moin Moin, my two World and EM have just been thrown out and simplified, I'm still thinking about adding India and Japan, but I'll see.

The purchase felt really strange with the large sum. Do you also have this with relatively large sums?

@PowerWordChill Hahahah awesome, thanks you made me smile :)

The 15k are also strange if they are in an account where they lose value daily.

You get used to it. But maybe it's just that it's a mouse click that somehow shifts all the money.

@Madhatter5566 That's also true, I still have some money in my savings account at Volksbank, where I get 0.2% interest per year hahaha, which is now being taken down more and more and is better invested🚀
@Bizzle Well. Savings account gone in any case. 0.2% is nothing even compared to overnight money.

But I wouldn't give up giro and call money completely as a reserve. I don't want to sell a little bit every time and get it back from the broker, especially since that always takes time. But there's a debate about how high this reserve should be. The best thing would probably be if you could get 10 euro coins made of silver cheaply, then you would have a fiat reserve plus silver investment in one.

You get used to it quickly. Soon you won't find 15,000 so much either 😃

It's sad when you invest a few thousand, but that somehow no longer makes a big difference to your portfolio 😂

You can also simply divide the amount into "non-funny sizes" and spread the entry over the day.
Then it feels a lot less weird.

When you see your 15K in the portfolio: 😄
If you have a daily loss of 1000€:😎
If you make a transaction with more than one month's salary: 😨
If you buy an ETF with the value of a small car: 💀

I switched my main ETF to $HMWO last January. When you send a transaction to Scalable for almost €50,000, it feels very absurd.

@CMustermann do you know the maximum amount of money you can transfer from scalable to your bank account? If you know it for Trade Republic too, I have both brokers.

You'd better get used to it - at some point your portfolio will be so large that it can quickly turn into a nasty fluctuation. You then have to keep your nerve.

I’m sitting on everything I invested in 2024 converted to cash and just waiting for the right moment to jump in to VWCE. Will It drop further or no, that is the eternal question no one can answer😬

I am Indian please don’t add India 🇮🇳 🤡 - Except a handful of companies 90% is a Scam. I don’t know how people invest in India over China 🇨🇳 😖

@Bizzle Yeah FR bro. 😎 It’ll all go to shit soon. China 🇨🇳 is a better option long term imo
