Novo Nordisk

$NOVO B (-1,2 %)

Hey neighbors!

I've had this stock on my watchlist for a long time now.

Do you think it's worth looking into right now, or is it a falling knife?

Any opinion would be helpful!

Thanks!

NED - I believe in Novo. Today's CMD presented a very promising outlook… The markets are currently very sensitive when revenue isn't growing exponentially… In my opinion, the stock is very undervalued right now…

Dividends limit the potential for losses, and in my opinion, the pharmaceutical industry is a stable sector.

@trade_whisperer_2961 But that's only true as long as the dividend doesn't have to be cut. I think there are several better pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical technology stocks. $NOVO B is pretty much at the bottom of my watchlist and isn't a good investment.

@Multibagger Which metrics do you find more interesting right now, and why isn't Novo appealing to you at that level?

@Baisse-Jumper I was already against $NOVO B when the hype was still going strong. Even back then, and especially now after their latest setbacks, their business model is too one-dimensional. I believe they’re fairly valued at current levels. There are other players, even in the weight-loss segment, that have a broader portfolio. $LLY would be my favorite if I absolutely had to invest in this market (which I don’t want to). In general, I see the pharmaceutical/biotech sector as the one that will benefit the most from AI. That’s why I’m betting on stocks like $CAI, $OMDA, $NRXS, $NRIX, and 2–3 others that are even more speculative. With all of them, I see the potential for them to at least triple or quintuple in value before Novo reaches its old highs again. And I’m not interested in dividends.

@Multibagger Ah, okay. Thanks for your insight. I’m actually more interested in the dividend aspect, but I do have an issue with the current management and their plans, as well as their communication strategy. That’s why $NOVO B is on my watchlist—especially as a European addition to my portfolio of U.S. stocks—but ultimately, I’m still skeptical about its future performance.

At 15, I'm thinking about getting in, but... for months now, there's only been one way to go.

I'd first check to see if the recent low holds; if so, it's a good setup

What the hell are you guys writing? “Pharma is a stable industry”—I haven’t read such nonsense in a long time.
There are literally thousands of better stocks out there—why on earth would you buy crap like that?
I’m telling you this as an NVO shareholder.
So please believe me: stay away from it and don’t even think about it again.

@capital_sherpa_2729 Finally, someone with some sense😅
You can tell that more and more people who really have no clue are getting washed up here in this app. I miss the old days.
