Competition from J+J and Why Intuitive Is Still Well-Positioned

$ISRG (-0,48 %) The week went down quite well. One reason could be the online contest by $JNJ (-0,9 %) , which is launching Ottava, a direct competitor, onto the market. Another reason is the slightly lower growth, as the quarterly growth rate has dropped from 14% to 12%.

However, the moat and recurring SaaS revenue remain intact. I don’t see a bear case here and remain invested; if the price drops below €300 again, I’ll gladly buy more.

I'm absolutely bullish on $ISRG 😁 There's so much more to it than that. Before a system transition, surgeons need to be retrained, the system has to prove itself on the market first, and so on... And that's up against decades of experience that $JNJ simply doesn't have yet.

@FinanzMechaNikk That's how I see it, too. $ISRG is trading at the price of its last low, and even now it's still almost a no-brainer buy. 😁

I wasn't familiar with $ISRG, but the healthcare sector is very interesting. For comparison, I'm keeping a closer eye on $NOVO B because diabetes is going to be a major issue in the coming years for me, and the stock is entering a bear market that interests me 👨‍💻
