Well, the whole Tiktok bubble has switched to Rednote as a kind of protest, it's basically a Chinese Tiktok. Under the motto "well, then we'll just give our data to the Chinese government directly without any detours". The situation is incredibly funny right now

I could well imagine that Bytedance will not sell Tiktok at all.
As far as I read on ntv earlier, Bytedance is assuming that they will switch off TokTok in the USA on Sunday.
