$UNH (-0,62 %)
HSBC-analyst Sidharth Sahoo downgrades UnitedHealth from "Hold" to "Reduce". The price target falls from USD 490 to USD 270. The insurance company's CEO change, the withdrawal of the 2025 forecasts and the alleged Medicare fraud have led to the market capitalization halving since the announcement of the first quarter results. The analyst now sees risks to UnitedHealth's earnings growth as well as a political overhang. In HSBC's view, the risks outweigh the benefits at this stage. They believe that the company's profit-cutting cycle could continue.
