LVMH Awaits Quarterly Results. Is a Sustainable Turnaround on the Horizon?

Tomorrow (to be released on October 12 after the market closes $MC (-2,22 %) the Q3 earnings report. Since I’m already invested, I’m less interested in the short-term price reaction than in whether a sustainable recovery is on the horizon.

My key watchouts:

China: Will the recovery in demand continue?

Middle East: How significantly are geopolitical tensions affecting consumption and tourism?

U.S.: Will demand remain stable, or will we see further weakness?

Fashion & Leather Goods: Will Louis Vuitton and Dior return to a sustainable growth trend?

Margins: Will profitability improve sustainably, or will the pressure persist?

For me, what matters less is a single strong quarter, but rather whether $MC (-2,22 %) can grow organically again without sacrificing margins or the positioning of its brands.

Stocks are like her handbag: an expensive luxury you have to be able to afford. 😬

@Solitair No😂 We're not related by blood or marriage. But we obviously share a similar investment strategy.

How is your position looking right now? Mine is down about 15%, but I've placed my buy orders in case the price drops further.

@MikeUpegui I'm currently down 25% in total return. However, I still have the stock in my savings plan. If the price drops significantly again, I might add another tranche as a one-time purchase.
