@SchlaubiSchlumpf Exactly—better than bonds, money market accounts, or time deposits.

It depends on the time frame and how much security you need. If I know I’ll need the money in 6–12 months as a down payment on a house, I’d prefer a money market account or a fixed-term deposit. I’d lean toward a money market account or overnight fund. If I just have too much money, I can’t have enough in stock ETFs.

@Dukke I don't see it that way with this ETF:
Why?
10% is invested in insurance and banking.
If there are high claims and pressure on the banks, this ETF will also go into the red.
Its current performance is also due to the well-performing stocks.
As an ETF sector, it’s OK.
An alternative to “safe” investments with short-term liquidity that’s in the black? No 🙂‍↔️

@Smudeo Volatility is low, especially with $FLXD; costs are low; dividends are 4.5% plus about 5% growth; with $iShares STOXX 30, the dividend is even higher, about 6%; but so is volatility; the maximum drawdown was about 10% and about 18%, respectively—that level of risk is acceptable to me. Call money, time deposits, and money market funds aren’t really alternatives for me—that’s clear.
