Opinion on Ares Capital ?

Hi, I am currently considering building up a somewhat larger position in Ares Capital $ARCC (+0,51 %) as it looks like a solid and stable company to me, and the dividend is very attractive for the low share price. What do you think about the stock?

or do you have any suggestions for similar dividend stocks with a good price?

Capital Southwest, if you want a BDC. Take an internally managed one

I have BDC in my portfolio myself and would definitely recommend it for building up cash flow. But it's not really cheap at the moment, I think it's just under 1.1 NAV. The share has been available at a discount from time to time over the last 12 months and since anything seems possible at the moment, I strongly assume that you could get it back at a NAV of 1.0 or below in the near future 👍🏻
