I always wonder what kind of people they are who voluntarily shoot themselves up with this stuff 😅 then prefer to lose weight old school 😂

•@1Chrischi1 Thank you! Why is the share price performance not surprising😅📈
But at >100, the P/E ratio is not without reason, so others are also expecting a trip to the moon 🚀

@Simpson tbh, me, I go to the gym 4 times a week, cook for myself, eat veggies and try to watch macros, cravings are just really hard as I've been overweight for years. And what's €300 a month if it means I can maybe live a year longer.
It's hard to understand when you're at a normal weight. But look at it this way: why don't depressed people stop being depressed, or why don't smokers or alcoholics stop? Well, because it's both a mental problem and a type of addiction. Try not eating sugar for a few days, and imagine it happening after all kinds of meals, even if you eat normal portions (not to mention a deficit).

•@Simpson Ozempic and Wegovy are usually supplements to the weight loss process that can ensure faster success, which is an important psychological component, especially for extremely overweight people.
Incidentally, if you are prescribed these products, you will usually also receive nutritional advice and a sports program at the same time, as the injections will not help without a corresponding change.

•@Shem_sen Sure it works, but it's anything but healthy or sustainable. :)
Either he takes the injections for almost the rest of his life or he will have a great yo-yo effect.
(The injections are still a medication and should be treated as such. Particularly in the case of morbid obesity, there are usually several indicators as to why it is the way it is and which need to be worked on. The injections are a shortcut to a certain extent).

•@Simpson just not! This is probably the worst fitness/weight loss lie in the world and yet it's true. Let me explain it briefly. Yes, for many people it is true and losing weight is "so" easy. Biochemistry plays a very important role here and unfortunately is hardly taken into account. There are so many factors involved here, such as stress, hormones, sleep, micronutrients, etc. For women in particular, it is even more complicated and eating (too) little can ironically lead to weight gain and hormonal problems. Eating little and exercising a lot can quickly destroy the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HHN axis or HPA axis) = burnout, women are much more at risk due to hormones. Implementation is usually the problem. A healthy person can easily activate the GLP-1 hormone (weight loss injection) through exercise, "healthy eating" and sauna, for example. If the hormone system is already out of kilter due to excess weight, illness etc., it is no longer so easy. The human body is so much more complex than simply eating less and moving more, and yet - broken down very bluntly - it is true.
