Shift again before the New Year🧐

After holding the shares for almost a year $NNN (+0,08 %) with a loss of -15%. I invested the proceeds in $MDLZ (-0,71 %) invested in

NNN is a solid REIT with competitive real estate/department stores etc. but not really useful in Austria. REITs are not taxed with DBA... so you burn almost 50% of the dividends.

Mondelez is a company I have wanted to have in my portfolio for ages. They have an extremely popular product portfolio, products like: Milka, OREO, Toblerone, Philadelpha, 7Days etc...

The share of $MDLZ (-0,71 %) is currently offering a dividend of >3.7% with a dividend growth of over 14% (average last 10 years).

Healthy margins, constant, increasing cash flow and healthy dividend policy

Take advantage of market weakness and get in with the first foot.

@teschi Milka, yes. Tesla was unpopular a few months ago..... Milka is once again doing a drobby advertising campaign, prices have been cut by 40% in the last few days anyway (after being increased by 60%...) Mondolez is coming back, the customer can't buy them for that long.

@userc818a6f2df6247c9 Their marketing is going so well that I'd rather reach for a Milka chocolate bar than another one. It's a bit like saying "a Coke please" when you don't know what to drink.

@PoorDad I almost thought you knew what kind of discussion is going on in Germany at the moment regarding the shrinkage of milk tablets. So much so that they are currently being sold off to make any sales at all.

@Iwamoto Mondelez is being dragged down by the market cycle just like $PEP, $GIS, $SJM, $PG and the rest of the peers. They are all blue chips from the consumer sector. Dividends from $MDLZ are currently at a 10-year high, growing at over 14% per annum. If the company becomes a dividend aristocrat and increases payouts similar to recent years, then you probably have a YoC of well over 10% at the current entry point. You can be annoyed by share price losses and political influences from time to time, but this does not mean that the company should be valued less highly.
