Dividends with sparkling water: Is Pepsi worth it?

My dears, what do you think of $PEP (+0,8 %) ?

In my opinion, Coke wins on all fronts in terms of taste, but since the world of investing is not just about taste, I wanted to ask how many of you are invested in Pepsi. The share price has suffered a lot, but I would consider it as an investment as the Pepsi Group's products are exciting overall.

$KO (-0,52 %)
$CCEP (+1,05 %)

I have both in my custody account / savings plan, which is certainly how many of us handle it.

I no longer have either of them (absolute low performers and yield killers)!

@Cato_Bamboo $KO a yield killer? At $PEP we can currently argue😅

@RenditeRudin $PEP: -12% YTD and - 17% Year, even with dividend negative Invest........

@RenditeRudin is just a nonsense, are good investments, remember to think long term 👍🏼

@Cato_Bamboo since you seem to be bubbling over with knowledge, please show me a stock that has never suffered over the year. Thank you!

@Cato_Bamboo but that is very short term thinking

@Cato_Bamboo take a look at your investment before you call something a low performer and a yield killer 😉
@Cato_Bamboo Don't always show your inexperience so directly 😕

Pepsi is up about 10% in the meantime. Is doing quite well. Plus a nice dividend.

I have both in my portfolio. But you also have to see how they do it. Coke has it bottled and pepsi does it all itself. But pepsi doesn't just have drinks like Coke. They're just doing extremely badly in terms of share price performance, the only thing is that the dividend is too reliable. In addition, the basic consumption segment is not doing well.

@DerUnwissende Thank you for your feedback
$PEP and $CCEP in the portfolio, both also ok in the plus, simply to have the sector included 😀 but the latter is a much smaller position, so far I prefer to put the capital elsewhere as long as the share is still high. nevertheless, I used the 10% dip after the figures slightly.
I don't like the taste of pepsi at all either, but the group is exciting overall and at least the dividend yield tastes good. i'm just curious whether they won't cut it at some point.
