In the USA, Oracle $ORCL (-1,33 %) has bright prospects in the midst of a challenging market environment. Despite a reluctance to invest and intense competition in the cloud business, the company disappointed market forecasts in the last quarter. But that is not the end of the story. Group CEO Safra Catz is optimistic for the coming 2025/2026 financial year. She speaks of an impressive order backlog of 130 billion dollars, which could increase total sales by a hefty 15 percent.
In addition to these growth prospects, there was also good news for shareholders: Oracle is planning to increase its quarterly dividend by a quarter to 0.50 dollars per share. Oracle is thus not only focusing on expansion, but is also rewarding its investors.
