Blockchain ETF > Crypto

In January, the ETF is at only -10% while BTC shows -30% 🩸

I still maintain that companies making profit from blockchain are much lower risk and at the same time have just as strong growth potential.

The ETF includes everything from large exchanges to mining companies to fintechs that are merging banks with crypto.

I want to be broadly positioned and participate in the growth of blockchain without being invested in something that is bloated by greed and half-knowledge.

During a gold rush, the people who sell the shovels also earn quite well 🙂

@oliverplass The ETF has only existed since 2019, but OK look at the last 5 years.

Bitcoin's only basis for existence is its positioning as value-storing digital gold. And that's failing right now. What's left? A bubble of greed and speculation.

@alexbigdeal I don't know how you came to the conclusion that Bitcoin has only made 20% in 2 years, but Bitcoin cost around 8,000 euros back then and over 33,000 euros today

@alexbigdeal If that's your position, then it's weird to go into an ETF that includes companies that hold crypto themselves.

@Europoor Some of the companies included do hold bitcoins, but it is often part of a business area. Coinbase, for example, it is clear that they hold crypto to enable trading. Bitfarms mines 350 BTC/month which is held partly to buy new equipment.

But this is often functional and not just speculation

@DonkeyInvestor What is the status now? :)
