Was necessary but still think the share is too diversified. If Sony Entertainment were still going, that would be great

@topicswithhead Originally, the spin-off of the chip division was planned, which then came to nothing (for the time being).

My guess is that this was the first step in setting up the company properly because there were/are competing investment needs in the entertainment and semiconductor sectors. It is quite possible that the semiconductor division will now follow in order to end up with three well-structured units that can still utilize the brand value of the entire group.

@CaYaRo will be difficult. I think the spin off only came because the exchange really made it clear that they don't see any overlap here. This came mainly from the Japanese stock exchange, which has now called for the third time for all Japanese companies to improve their capital allocation.
