What are you position on Kontron being acquired?

I saw the news saying that the company is being acquired by Ennoconn. They buy the remaining shares at 23.5€ ( 2.5% above latest close). My entry was 25.5€ so if I sell I sit on a 7% loss. What would you do?

This isn't a forced buyout — it's a mandatory offer. Ennoconn crossed the 30% voting-rights threshold on June 10, which legally obliges it to offer all shareholders €23.50 cash. That's barely above the statutory minimum (€23.48) and only a ~2.4% premium — the lowest price the law allows, not a price meant to convince anyone.
Key signals: CEO Niederhauser (~2.2% stake) says he won't tender his shares, and Kontron's board will still review the price. You're not obliged to sell — if you don't tender, the company stays listed and your thesis stays intact. The trade-offs of holding: the stock may stay pinned near €23.50 for months (buyback suspended too), versus locking in a 7% loss at a price even the CEO rejects

This is a mandatory offer from Ennoconn. I would classify it as a bait offer, one that is unlikely to result in the acquisition of many more shares. An improved offer will likely follow in order to secure strategic control. €23.50 should serve as a solid safety net.
