Legacy for the daughter

Hello dear community,

First of all about me or rather us.

I 36 seller My wife 40 in care would like to invest Investment period until the required dream is about 20 years.

Monthly savings sum would be between 500-700 euros.

The aim is to build up a deposit that will one day help finance our vacation.

2 weeks in Turkey currently between 2-3,5 k

This is to be paid purely from dividends as the deposit will one day be given to our daughter, who is 23 years old and is currently in care. And if we are honest, this is not a job that you do for 40 years in a row.

I would like to keep it as simple as possible

one day $VWRL (-0,32 %) and one $TDIV (-0,39 %) would a 3 make sense if so which one and how would you organize the percentage distribution

Thank you very much for your help

Nursing staff to power. I've been in nursing for 16 years now and I know what you mean...

@DonkeyInvestor I also find that strange. So he was 12 at conception, his wife 15? 🤔

@Epi

...doesn't it say something about fostering? -> had interpreted that as a foster child 🤷

Greetings

Nice goals you have there, but it will really take a while to finance the vacation from the dividends...
1.5% dividend is unfortunately not much.
The $VWRLis a solid base with a lot of weight in the USA.

I have personally added the $SEDY. So far it has done well with a good 7% dividend and reduces the weighting somewhat. In view of the annual performance, however, the overall profit contribution is limited...

I think $WBLC is still great for a light crypto mix. Could be added for more risk but growth (without dividends).

With the 3 I have made a 60/25/15 split.

Otherwise, there are lots of individual stocks if you want something more complicated, such as $ALV $TSM $PETR3 $BATS etc

In my view, the $VWRL is completely sufficient, alternatively an MSCI World. If the dividend is not enough and the desire for vacation pay from dividends remains, I would switch to dividend stocks at a later date.
Until then, however, you have the most carefree and sensible investment, especially for a layman (from today's perspective, nobody can look into the future)

@Krynt If you have nothing positive to contribute, you might as well just stay out of it.
The spelling may have weaknesses, but the man is thinking about his child's future, working a valuable job in care and providing for himself or his children.
There is no reason to be derogatory here.
