Following a hacker attack, several plants of U.S. agricultural equipment manufacturer Agco are
are at a standstill - including at the subsidiary Fendt in the Allgäu region. The group said it was still investigating the extent. When asked, Fendt said that there would be no production at its headquarters in Marktoberdorf on Monday. How it will look in the coming days, it could not yet say. According to the company, the attack was a ransomware, an extortion Trojan.

South Korean automaker Hyundai $HYUD is planning to build a new electric vehicle (EV) plant in the United States. According to sources told Reuters, there are already talks with officials in Georgia. It was also said that a Georgia plant would serve both Hyundai and Kia.

Following a broad-based stock sell-off in the U.S., which saw the Dow Jones Industrial Average lose over 1,000 points, bitcoin fell $BTC (-0,49 %) by over 5% and below the $33,000 mark. It fell as low as $32,650.02, its lowest level since July 2021. Crypto investors took a hit after U.S. equity markets fell as "stablecoins" pegged to the U.S. dollar also lost parity.
