$BLO is expanding its VR market. After taking a majority stake in Played with fire, a VR development studio, Bloober has now reached an agreement with $META (-0,17 %) for the development of the project under the pet name "Project 1." They will receive "significant financial support" and will be assisted by Meta in promotional activities as part of the agreement.
I think Bloober has been moving in the right direction since my investment 2 years ago. The step now to enter the VR market is important and right in my opinion. With Meta they have a strong partner. I believe that Tencent with their 22% stake in the company act as a network. First the cooperation with Konami for the development of Silent Hill 2. Then the cooperation with Take Two for the project under the nickname Project 2. Then dwr advance into the streaming market. I'm excited to see how the series become the IPs, because the stories of the games are unique. The gameplay is supposed to change. The CEO talks about a fundamental change with more action and more content.
I'm excited to see where the journey with Bloober goes. I am over 100% with my position in Plus and will continue to hold. I am convinced that Bloober can expand their niche market.

Bloober Team acquires 53.27% of the shares in Played With Fire sp. a Polish VR studio. With this, Bloober wants to participate in the growing VR market and implement their new more aggressive strategy.
I'm excited to see how Bloober will design their next games. They have taken on board the criticism of monotonous games aimed at a very small niche segment. They want to bring more action and variety to the games, significantly increasing the market potential.
The pipeline has continued to expand with several games thereby also partnering Take Two and Konami. I think that Tencent with a 20% stake in the company allows a variety of contacts . There are also series planned for the games to draw more attention to the IPs. I think if the series are implemented well, then this could be surprisingly successful, because the stories of the games are often very fascinating and unique.
In addition, Bloober will soon be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and thus a revaluation will take place.
I am almost 80% up with my position and I will continue to hold as I believe the company has enormous potential to grow. However, one should not underestimate the risk in case stocks go bad as one has seen with $CDR (-1,63 %) has seen.
