Dear Quiner,

after almost exactly one year and 17 days on the stock market, I have finally reached the €50,000 mark!

This is a very important milestone for me personally.

In this one year, I have learned so much about the stock market, the market economy, economics in general and much more that I am simply incredibly grateful for it.

In addition to saving, you also learn so many other things, develop yourself further and learn step by step how the financial world works. Nobody can take that away from you.

Above all, however, you also learn how fast-moving the commodity "money" actually is AND that "saving" alone is not everything in life.

Of course, I made the same mistakes at the beginning - like almost everyone who comes to the stock market as a newcomer and thinks they can make a quick buck. Blind buying, speculative stocks, little diversification, no ETFs, blah, blah, blah. This made it all the more important for me to exchange ideas here on this platform and read up on strategies etc. on my own.

As a reminder and later improvement of my loss pot - if profits are to be realized at some point - I still have $SEDG (+11,9 %) in my portfolio (and a free share in TR (Netflix)).

Otherwise I have the $VWRL (+0,18 %) as a base ETF, a small overweight in the tech sector and many individual stocks for diversification. I know that there are a lot of individual stocks, but they are ALL saved between €50-200 per month via a savings plan. The two largest ETFs with 600€ per month and the remaining ETFs with 100-200€ per month.

The goal is to have €70,000 in the custody account by the end of the year. I would like to reach €100,000 by the beginning of next summer at the latest.

I wish everyone here continued success with their investments and good returns!

LG

Costs are then not there because of savings plan or ? Otherwise, of course, it makes no sense

Looks good 💪🏼

May I ask why exactly you chose the Em & Pacific Etf in terms of annual costs. They are quite high for both of them, I don't know much about them but to what extent is it worth it or is there a reason why the high annual costs might not matter in this case. Thank you
