What do you think of my plan of a portfolio of 60% $VDEV (-1,07 %) , 30% $IBC3 (-1,53 %) and 10% $WSML (-1,29 %) as core and in addition one or the other single share that one likes?

I cover the world with 7 ETFs - but it's basically the same approach. The purchase of individual stocks I try to suppress - but does not always work. ...other assets should be added (precious metals, real estate, cryptos, bonds) many greetings 🖖

@Moneymoney why a whole 7 etfs to represent the world? One ETF per continent?

@Portfoliopferd I do it like Christian Delacour (really recommendable YouTuber) - he does it with 6 etfs. S&p500, EM imi, Europe, Japan, Pacific without Japan, small All World and Europe small. ...I like a small us share better - just over 40 percent is enough for me. But it is a bit more time consuming and I would also make it dependent on the size of the portfolio.

@Moneymoney why Pacific without Japan + Japan extra? And how do you weight them? By GDP?

@Portfoliopferd good question 🤣...no there was a reason. I think there is the combo not distributing. ...the weighting is more by gut feeling - but goes in the direction of Andreas Beck by GDP. US stocks are just too expensive for me - but now for years - so was rather wrong in the past. 🤦‍♂️
