Nu Holding $NU (-1,04 %) Top 📈🚀 or flop 📉

I had originally planned to invest in the shares of Nu Holdings Ltd (NU).

Strong growth and good figures had convinced me at first, but I have the feeling that I have seen the other side of the 🥇.

Despite more impressive figures, I have now decided against an investment. After doing more detailed research on the internet, I found numerous negative comments from end users. Frequent points of criticism concerned customer support, technical problems with the app and difficulties in processing transactions. These reviews ultimately convinced me that the company may have structural problems that could have a negative impact on its market position in the long term.

I am particularly interested in your opinion of the company.

A small insight into the problems:

The question is, what do comments look like among the competition and to what extent is Instagram an indicator for investments at all?

@Dirty30 Thanks for the comment!
NU in particular was in demand. And Instagram is certainly not an investment indicator, but for me a good investment starts with the customers. It's like a house of cards that collapses from the bottom up.
Surely it's just the current phase & the problems and they'll get it right again soon.
If you think about WHAT exactly is happening to the customers, well. I wouldn't wish this stress on anyone. 😁

@end But that will be the case for every company somewhere. If you have millions of customers, they will never all be satisfied. There will always be challenges. You should also bear in mind that such Instagram pages are a catch basin for negative reports. You hardly ever read anything positive because nobody decides to post positive things under an Instagram post. And if you do a lot of research, you'll find "skeletons" in every company's closet. But then you shouldn't invest in general 😁

Your 3rd paragraph can be projected 1 to 1 onto countless other companies😅. The TR valuations probably don't look any better and, despite everything, there are heaps of cash being thrown around for the business in investor rounds. The valuations of all mobile operators certainly don't look any better either😂. If that is your only criterion for excluding investments, that would be absolutely no reason for me not to investieren🤷🏼‍♂️.

@All-in-or-nothing thanks for taking the time 😁, you're right, it can certainly be applied to many companies. Maybe I'm being a bit too hasty in that sense. I see falling share prices as a logical consequence of poor ratings from end users. At least that's what I would expect (it's not just a couple of bad Instagram reviews). The fact is that the stock market ticks a little differently. For me *so far* investment, for others certainly. 👌

@end It's actually pretty much the same as @Dirty30 described in his comment, negative feedback is given very quickly, positive feedback usually goes unmentioned. Therefore, in my opinion, you shouldn't pay too much attention to such comments geben🤷🏼‍♂️. A classic example of this is employer review sites. I mean, how many former employees vent their frustration there and how many happy long-term employees praise their employer there. I would say the same or a very similar distorted picture.

Customer support and technical problems can be solved over time. That's no reason for me not to invest. There are always negative points.

Trade Republic also has such reviews, but they are still the best neo broker

@Iwanowitsch thanks for replying 😁, still doesn't make a company any better 😅 TR's support is and remains the reason why I'm considering switching. But that's another topic for another day 💤

@end be glad that they have no customer service, otherwise the spreads would be even higher and instead of one euro each trade might cost two euros
