Philip Morris $PM (-1,34 %)
sells Vectura to Molex at a loss.


PM bought Vectura, a manufacturer of inhalable drugs, in July 2021 for 1.2 billion US dollars. It has now been sold to Molex Asia Holdings for 245 Mln US dollars.

Personally, I was quite split on PM's investment in medical products. On the one hand, it is of course a great platform for future products, but on the other hand there is a high risk of lawsuits. Although initial progress has already been made, there have also been the first warning signs of potential lawsuits.
