So The case for me is very different.,
I have a couple of stocks i with No dividend i plan on Selling when they have grown enough, but Else, dividend is a cheaper tax Way in Denmark.
In Denmark we tax our regular income 56% (thats a lot)
Sale of stocks is taxed 42% on The profit
But dividend in only taxed 27% up to around 10k dollar , then we get taxed 42%.
Its a Heavy tax country 😂

•@Vanman damn I didn't know about it! Here in Italy it's very tax-inefficient to get a dividend

@i_miei_investimenti denmark is REALLY heavy on taxes, no way around it. if you try to shelter, they will just take you to court :D
