:D I'm from near Stuttgart. That's why you're quickly at 80-90 square meters for a newer apartment at 1,000-1300€ cold:)
But it's always difficult to say something like that across the board

I'm from the Villingen-Schwenningen area. That might tell you something. It now costs over €10 per square meter here too. The smaller the apartment, the more expensive the price per square meter.

the same here in Singen, if not more extreme - 12-14€/sqm depending on apartment size

Yep, I'm aware of that. My brother lives in Singen and I think he pays €1700 warm for a 108 square meter new build. So cold around 1300€
