The construction of the 3rd terminal at the airport in Frankfurt ✈️
I love to travel and more often I fly from the airport in Frankfurt. There, the 3rd terminal is currently being expanded. Again and again the airport operator Fraport had to fight with criticism. The new Terminal 3 is intended to strengthen the growth of German air traffic in the coming decades. When completed, it could handle up to 25 million passengers. Construction of the new terminal was not halted during the pandemic and costs remain on target despite rising construction prices. Fraport is also planning to refurbish the existing Terminal 2. Despite some criticism from shareholder representatives, the virtual AGM took place and the proposed measures were approved by a large majority.

I am unsure to be honest, on the one hand travel will continue to play a significant role and demand for air travel is expected to continue.
However, on the other hand, there are factors, such as rising costs of fuel like gasoline, that are negatively impacting the profitability of the airline industry. In addition, the aviation industry is under pressure to reduce its environmental impact and find more sustainable solutions. The increasing environmental awareness of people could lead to a rethinking of travel behavior and preference for alternative modes of transport.
