You have to be registered in the Swiss share register, don't you? Is it even possible to do this as a non-Swiss citizen?

@Staatsmann As I understand it, this is possible as a German and some brokers even offer registration as a service. But it could also be that I have misunderstood something.

@Joshy Yes, I wasn't sure whether there are similar restrictions as with Chinese shares.😅

I'll have to google it later.

With Interactive Brokers it works.

Registration is not a problem and can also be done from abroad. However, shareholder gifts may only be sent within Switzerland. Here is the direct link to the PDF from Lindt and Sprüngli: https://www.lindt-spruengli.com/media/amasty/amfile/attach/CghRRWGVp4xEr6sLjxU1lIVgfQgimKhO.pdf

@Andimoneych thought you had to pick up the suitcase at the Annual General Meeting?

@Marco-VI The document was during the Corona period. If you are unable to attend the AGM, you can have it sent to you.

For this you must have a residence in CH instead of DE.

You don't have to. It's only about shipping the suitcase

@Yusake only within CH, as far as I have been able to ascertain.

Yup, exactly. But you can also have it sent to a Swiss postal address and from there to DE. That's what I do.
