It's amazing how well World Momentum is doing. And how rarely you see it in the portfolios.
What could be the reason for this?

@Tenbagger2024 I think many people don't like the dynamics. In a "normal" ETF you are always invested in all the shares in a region/sector. But the Momentum buys/sells positions every six months.
From many people's point of view, this no longer has much to do with buy and hold.
In addition, a momentum ETF is also more volatile than an MSCI World.

Over 5 years, the msci World has made 58%, the Momentum 91%. I don't care about the volatility if the result is right in the end.

@Tenbagger2024 most people say until they are down 28.53% 😅 (which has been the max drawdown for the last 5 years)
But yes, I am very happy with the product.

I could imagine that the Russel 2000 could run this year. Since the stock market was driven by the big companies last year and the year before last, the small companies should now catch up.
Maybe take a look at the Russel 1000 Momentum, I like it very much. And I think a momentum strategy makes sense for the Russel in particular.

Is there even an investable product for this?
I am invested in Russel Quality $RTWO and USA smalcap value $ZPRV

@Tenbagger2024 because many simply don't know it, haven't dealt with it or think that the world is the measure of all things.

I have momentum and quality in my occupational pension scheme, which is not tracked here.

@Tenbagger2024 Momentum does not work in bear markets and not in sideways phases.

@tjwr It depends, positive trends can also exist in bear and sideways markets.
But such trends tend to be seen more in bull markets. 😘

@tjwr
But should still not perform worse than the normal World in these phases
