The US approval of the E-Freighter has arrived. Embraer now has access to a large market for small express freighters.
Following Brazil's national civil aviation authority ANAC, the US FAA has now also granted certification to the Embraer E-Freighter. This opens up a large part of the global market for the E190F "Passenger to Freighter" P2F conversion. Numerous countries automatically accept the FAA approval. Embraer expects to receive certification from the European EASA before the end of the year.
The FAA approval that has now been granted covers both the structural modifications to the aircraft itself and the E-Freighter's cargo loading system developed by the US company U.S. Cargo System.
