Hey Getquin Community! Bayer shares are currently struggling. The Q3 figures showed a net loss of 4.18 billion euros, mainly due to weak markets in the agricultural sector and regulatory pressure, while the pharmaceutical division is providing positive impetus.

Now I need your opinion: sell or hold? My $BAYN (+0,17 %) -investment stands at -59.24 %. Do you think the share will recover in view of the challenges? What would you do if you were me? 📉📉

The share has to rise by around 150% to make up for your pure price losses.
Do you think it can do that?

The question is, is Bayer grossly undervalued?
Can the Monsanto disaster now be resolved (promptly?)?
Will the stock market continue to pile on the "losers" and continue to overvalue other performers, or will there soon be a "change of heart"?
How will the restructuring at Bayer succeed?
If you are more inclined to answer "yes" to all these questions, then you know your own answer!
I am very positive about Bayer in the medium term, even if I will reduce my very high Bayer holding somewhat if the share price rises further: I expect disproportionate share price gains next year to compensate for the annual profits (I had "collected" Bayer at around EUR 19.00 1-2 weeks ago). I cannot predict whether it will succeed, so this is not investment advice!

Sell! Invest the money in a better share

If I were you, I would wait until the new government is elected. Either way, it will be economically friendly. Then the loss will be somewhat smaller. It's only 3 months

If you want to hold it for the long term and the amount is small - why not, otherwise, if you have to pay tax on too many profits - you can also sell it. But then it's really gone

Sometimes it's better to just let go... 🐍

Had a small loss, then realized it and invested in better stocks.

I think they'll bounce back. I have time and just leave them and buy more
