Sales per region:
Taiwan: 38%
South Korea: 29%
China: 14%
USA: 9%
Other: 10%
That's why
$ASML
shares are not a buy for me

Well, that's the case for many in the sector 🤷🏼♂️
If TSMC is the largest chip producer in Taiwan, what can you do😅

Not all of them are dependent on China and Taiwan. Companies such as
$NVDA
,
$CDNS
,
$SNPS
etc. are not very dependent on China and Taiwan.

There is only one semiconductor sector and not several. However, there are different categories, namely:
Semiconductor equipment companies such as:
-
$ASML
-
$AMAT
-
$LRCX
-
$KLAC
-
$8035
etc
And then we have semiconductor companies/software, these include:
-
$NVDA
-
$SNPS
-
$CDNS
-
$AMD
Etc
