You have to decide for yourself. I actually always buy, regardless of the price.
In the past, the 4th quarter has always been very strong for Bitcoin. The interest rate cut should continue to give it a boost and I expect it to break at least 100k next year anyway :)

@stefan_21 thank you, I think I'll wait until it falls below the €50000 mark. And then I'll buy another €500-€750.
I actually wanted to apply a 70/20 (shares)/10 (crypto) strategy.

But Bitcoin is just far too exciting, and I think I'll just have to put the €1000 into Bitcoin first and then just focus on ETFs. Because I have enough individual stocks for now.

ETF:
1300€ - $IWDA

Shares:
500€- $MC
320€ - $PLTR
260€ - $GOOGL
210€ - $BATS
90€ - $VITR ( I would like to sell if the market is positive, currently at minus 9%) prudent on MSCI World

Crypto:
320€ - $BTC

@Wiktor_06 If you are unsure about the right time, you could also set up a savings plan. Then you simply buy the average price over period X.
Or you could buy now for €250 and later for another €250.
I've often had the experience that the Bitcoin price has then run away from me and I've ended up buying a lot higher because I was "too greedy" and waited for the price to fall a little :)
If we now head towards a new ATH and you wait for the dip towards 50k, you'll be annoyed.
The other way around, if you buy now and it goes downhill again, the same applies.
That's why I can recommend a savings plan.
