Hello everyone,
I am a 19-year-old student and am currently faced with the decision of how to build up my investment portfolio.
Since I have a long-term investment horizon and am willing to take some risk, I am considering whether it makes sense to invest all my capital in the Nasdaq 100
$XNAS (+1,77 %) or the S&P 500 $VUAG (+0,99 %) to invest.
On the other hand, I am also attracted by the idea of investing in a broadly diversified way (i.e. a typical 70/30 portfolio) in order to spread risks better.
My plan would be to switch to dividend ETFs in a few years to build up passive income. Or should I simply invest directly in the $VWRL (+1,32 %) invest directly?
What do you think? Is it better to focus on one index like the Nasdaq 100 or S&P 500, or does a broader diversification make more sense in my case?
Looking forward to your opinions and experiences!
