Hello everyone!
Another week has passed. I added 950 euros to my Interactive Brokers account and invested the entire amount in $FWRG (+0,53 %) . Progress on my savings has been slower than I’d like in recent months because I bought an expensive gift for my wife’s birthday, paid for a trip for my mom and grandma, and helped my sister with her tuition. In total, I’ve spent around 5,000 euros over the past month and a half. It’s not a huge amount, but of course, part of me would be happier if that money had been invested in ETFs. Still, I believe that spending on things like this is exactly what money is for, so I don’t regret it. I wanted to share this with you because, thinking back to when I first started my FIRE journey, I would have felt and thought completely differently—kind of like some youthful maximalism.
Nevertheless, I’m still pushing towards my 100k goal this year, although progress is slow due to the major pullback in crypto. I hope we’ll see a new ATH for $BTC (+3,3 %) this year—let’s not forget about the seasonality of election years!
I’m also taking your comments into account (by the way, thanks for sharing them—it’s great to know I’m not just talking into the void!). I’m planning to get rid of all my altcoins and keep just 1-2 ETFs in my portfolio, but I’d like to do this closer to hitting the 100k mark.
Have a good week and see you on the next one!
