How and with what, do you look at companies?

And I don't mean the YOLO groups that promise you life in Dubai and tell you what to buy....

No, I'm talking about tools and hardware.

The linchpin for me has somehow become the iPad. I'm writing this post about it right now and I'm also using it a lot for my content.

Professionally I use a Microsoft Surface, which I have connected to the 24 inch monitor to the left of it. The widescreen above it is controlled by a Mac Mini. I can switch the keyboard back and forth on both PCs.

There are so many stock companies in this picture alone:

LG: $LGLD (+2,38 %) Dell: $DELL (-1,66 %) Microsoft: $MSFT (-0,86 %)

Apple: $AAPL (-0,58 %) Logitech: $LOGN (+1,4 %) PepsiCo : $PEP (-0,7 %)

Tool I use are in the end not even so many. Most runs with me everything about the big monitor and there on it I use the platform of Guidants. There I have a paid version, which I can also use on the iPad and iPhone.

getquin is of course a part of these tools I use to track my portfolios and look something in depth. But the bulk is with me really Guidants. Occasionally also TraderFox. Here I have but for half a year, canceled my subscription, because I get along with Guidants, just better.

Instagram... phew... yes how do I bring this in here. Sure I use Instagram, have me there also built a small community with just under 14,400 followers. But Instagram is currently developing really in the direction of TikTok and felt over 50% of all reels that I get to see there, only tits and asses. The development I personally do not like and also the range, is accordingly greatly reduced.

Also, I see it as a very strong problem that more and more of my colleagues (find it very unsatisfactory to use the word colleagues), design affordable subscriptions where you can follow you for YOLO horny content and then probably get really rich. There are defintiv providers where this is also completely ok and also makes fun to be part of the community, even if you have to pay something. Positively I could mention here the Goldesel (Micha). I know her forever as other communities, far before our use of Instagram. The added value through the Discord community, is really strong. But that also depends on what you really want and expect. I think Insta continues to be cool for content, but will also try to shift more and more here as well and maybe maintain my blog a little better again and do something there. I just don't want to be too dependent on a platform that just does everything to copy another platform.

Many of you invest yes certainly also more passively or once a month and need this whole schnick schnack maybe not at all.

How does it look like with you? Rather simply held or nevertheless also, somewhat more aufwändiger? I have linked my professions through my desk and am always able to act. Since I work 100% in my home office, I also need that for both of my activities.

I used to have more monitors, but have greatly reduced that. These are now with the kids, they were happy. And since I don't trade as much as I used to, that's enough for me.

If you ever do a little post about your desk, please feel free to tag me in this?

Also, I would be interested in your opinion by comment and gladly one or the other reaction.

How and when I will expand the content, I do not know yet, not even in what form. Currently it's vacation time.

Best regards from the Baltic Sea coast!

I use laptop, tablet or cell phone. I'm just starting to look at annual reports, quarterly figures, etc. I'm less of a trader and more of a buy and hold, but so far only invested in ETFs.
