If you want to keep up the effort in the long term, there's nothing to be said against it.

I ask myself the following questions, among others:
- Rebalancing the weighting of individual stocks?
- Adjustment, e.g. of the weighting of the sectors in relation to each other?
- Do you want to make the effort permanently?

@MoneyISnotREAL With so many positions you don't really need rebalancing because it's almost impossible for one share to account for more than 5%. At least that's the case for me. I have over 100 and NVIDIA is still only at 3.6% and that's actually too much for me, but it balances out over time anyway

@Ayecaramba256 I would not have expected that now. I would have assumed that good performing stocks would be weighted much more heavily than others.

Of course, this also depends on the initial investment.

But everyone is free to do what they want, and if you want to build your own ETF, why not?
