I can be glad that we have internet at a decent speed... Or that I can at least receive some radio stations digitally in my car...
I think 75 percent of the people here don't even know what bitcoin is...
I'll be happy if there's no one in front of me at the checkout in Lidl who doesn't know the Lidl app or says they don't need that shit... 🙈

@MrElch13 It's hard to imagine something like this in 2021... Of course, it has to be said that not all of Spain has Bitcoin ATMs like this. I live in an area frequented by tourists.

There are also many Swedes, Finns and English people living here.

@Pascal_J I think that in some areas Germany is lagging behind quite a bit... My wife is originally from Switzerland... And when she came here 20 years ago, she was amazed when she asked why this and that didn't exist here... Even if it's just something as simple as points cards in supermarkets...
Well... In some areas, many people seem to be lagging behind one way or another... 🙄
So it's no wonder that something like bitcoin is sometimes unknown... After all, it's nothing to touch... 😁

@MrElch13 To be honest, I'm often shocked at how much Germany still lives in the Stone Age...
Here you have been able to pay by card at the bakery for several years now - occasionally with a minimum purchase of €5, but that is actually a rarity. In Germany, I've been to the bakery so often (big chain, no bakery in the village) that doesn't accept cards...

How can a large industrial nation like Germany be so poorly digitized?
Not accepting cards is just one example of many😅

@Pascal_J the cash card was accepted at our bakery a few years ago... But it didn't last long... No one liked cards...

Thanks to corona, card payments have become more popular I think... The only reasonably good thing about the crap virus... 🙈

In Germany, other values are more important to many people than technical newfangled stuff... 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄🙈
